Shockingly enough, none of these three films compares to Baz Luhrmann’s “Elvis” (159 minutes). The 2 hour and 49 minute movie is set to be the longest of Luhrmann’s career. That’s a very ambitious runtime. At some point, there was a rumour that it test-screened at 195 minutes, so a 26 minute snip may have occurred. “Elvis” will be shown out of Competition on 05.20.22 at the Lumiere theatre. It’s set to open in theatres around a month later on June 24th. The film stars Austin Butler as Elvis Presley and Tom Hanks as his manager Colonel Parker. Contribute Hire me
